Rain rain...

Go away!

Just when I thought spring was here, the rain came back. I wore a pretty dress and tights today, until I got really really cold. I was like OH PRETTY and now I'm like OH PAJAMJAMS. I'm probably going to spend the rest of my day with Muffin and the television.

So here is my poem to the sun:

Oh beautiful sun
How I miss your gleaming face
The warmth you bring
and shining grace

Please come home
Oh beautiful sun
And remember to bring
You best friend Spring.

Anyone else really missing the sun? Spring is taking forever and I'm sick of it. I have four new dresses for Spring and Summer, but this weather is putting a damper on my style.

Jaco

P.S. Remember to run over to Elsie's Blog, she's having a 24 hour blog party!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Momma Monster!

(All pictures from Fuck Yeah! Lady Gaga)

Anyone who even relatively knows me, is aware of my love for Lady Gaga. I adore her stage act and the person she is, her Gaga-ness. I think she's a brilliant singer and song writer, as well as a beautiful woman. I hadn't seen her smile and when I did, one of the pictures above, I was amazed. She is so much more beautiful when she smiles. I know it is fashion to look rigid and beautiful as is but her smile is stunning.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday Lady Gaga!

Love and Gagadoves,
Jaco

P.S. To show my devotion today, I wish I was home so I could dress rediculously BUT I'm not. So I think I'm going to try to wear blue and pink eyeliner at one time :3. I love you, Momma Monster!

So... I have a obsession.

(we heart it)

Tattoos. I cannot get enough of tattoos. I don't have any (YET) but I am preparing to get a lot. I am really in love with color tattoos. I think black and grey can be great, but suit men better than women. On women I am in love with brightly colored, beautiful tattoos. I love traditional the most, but flowers are lovely as well as portraits ect ect. I honestly love all beautiful tattoos. I don't even think they need a purpose as long as they are beautiful.

(we heart it, at least I think so. I have so many pictures I can't remember sometimes.)

If I can have my way, I will have two half sleeves, for sure. I love hand tattoos but it will have to depend on my future career. I also love chest pieces but I want to be able to have V necks. I also love rib pieces and back pieces but I'm not really sold on any tattoos below the hips.
Where do you love your ink?

Love and Turtledoves,
Jaco

It's warmin' up!

I am ready for Spring/Summer. (In case you haven't noticed.) I am ready for warm weather and in my town's case, wind. Even though I hate the wind, I'm prepared for it. I am ready for school to get out for my last summer as child (lawl), and do shit. Pardon my French.

My summer will consists of:

Knott's Berry Farm! (I bought a season pass)

(Maybe) Disneyland!

The BEACH!

(Well this picture was at the pool but I don't think we took any pictures at the beach last summer.)

I'm going to Pennsylvania for two weeks, to stay with my favorite Grandparents :)

(haha I couldn't find a picture of Pennsylvania so I just found a funny grandma picture. :] )
[weheartit]

I'm going to REALLY start my Etsy.

Some more of those!

And some more big hair bows!

Anyone else having a busy busy summer?

Nerd Chic

There are so many ways to express who you are through clothes. I am personally a major nerd, trust me. I've gotten pretty girly as I am getting older but I still have a huge spot in my heart for nerdiness. (I tried to buy a star trek shirt yesterday but didn't have enough money. :[ ) I put together three different type of nerd chic, via Polyvore:

Irving is a hot nerd. She knows how to dress but still loves a good calculator watch. She spends her time photoshopping fashion pictures on her laptop while listening to Lady Gaga. When she's not surfing the web Irving can be found playing a rousing game of D&D with her boyfriend.

Jenny is a tomboy nerd. She wears her favorite sweater vest she found at a thrift store, with nearly everything. Her favorite item she owns is her laptop as well as her canary yellow Doc Martins. When on the run, Jenny knows she can strap on her boots, pull on her panda hat, and face the world.

Crystal is a gamer nerd. She loves lives and breathes Nintendo and loves to play the Wii with her besties. She's traveled to Hyrule and back in her green converse, hardly ever taking them off. Crystal swears she'll never leave the house without her DS as well as her best friend, Pikachu.

I'd like to think I'm a little of all three of these looks, but I'm a little biased. ;)
Have a wonderfully nerdy Friday!

Blythe Envy.

I'm having a bad case of Blythe envy. I first saw them on Skunkboy Creatures and wasn't sure how I felt. But the more and more I look at these beautiful dolls... The more I wish I had the money to get one. I love their sweet large eyes and their fantastic hair. And I have another problem. Even if I could afford one, which one would I choose?

There's Ice Rune

And Mrs Retro Mama

And Enchanted Petal

And I think I like these two the best but could NEVER choose,
Simply Mango and Simply Guava

(All the pictures are either from ebay or google but they belong to Hasbro anyway)
My real problem is I can't find I doll I love completely. I either like their face or their clothes. I love Gauva's hair but dislike her overalls and same with Mango. I really would like a pink haired doll but I shouldn't be poor and picky. As if that's gonna happen.

Oh well, Donny is a sweetheart and promises I can have one when we can afford it. But I know that won't be for at least a year or two. I'll just have to hold back my love and simply lust on the internet.

Jaco

Dear Bunny,

I just want you to know I miss you.
Remember this?

We look so young. That was back in puppy love huh?
I love you my dear, you are amazing.
Hyper Love and Turtle Doves,
Your Kitty Girl

:3 Meoooooow.

I just thought I'd share these wonderful pictures of cats. I am prepared to become a crazy cat lady. At least I will die happy. I hope these photos make you happy too.

This last one made me laugh sooooo hard.

I wish I had a UFF (Unidentified Flying Feline). I miss my sweet kitties sooo bad. I'm gonna be at my dad's until Sunday (have you noticed with my influx of photos? haha) and I already miss my sweet fur buttons.

Looove and Kittendoves,

Dear Summer:

I really (x 1 million) miss you.

I miss wearing skirts everyday and not having to put on tights when I don't want to. I miss strapless, spaghetti straps, and not wearing jackets.

I miss swimsuits! And swimming and just being warm.

(all from weheartit)
PLEASE
come soon.

Awaiting your return,
Jaco

P.S. Tell Winter to get lost.

Summer's got me dreaming

Happy Tuesday my lovely little friends! Alright I know there aren't many people who read my blog but I think it'll happen eventually. Until then I will write for my own enjoyment! So today I'm not feeling very sunny at all and have decided to give myself a freeday to dress like a slob. I have a Metal Mulisha shirt on and Donny's pajamjam bottoms. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

SO to brighten up my gloomy morning, here is a photo dump.:3 (Meow)
She makes this face when you make a kissy sound. It just melts my heart

This is my favorite thing to say to Donny. "You're just my favorite!"
(le love)

This makes me laugh everytime :)

Sometimes you just gotta be a nedasaure.

A 50's Inspiration

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope your weekends are going swell, mine is just peachy. This is the second day of my Spring Break (!!!!) and I have yet to sleep in, haha. I got up very early today and decided it was cleaning day. Sooo that's about it ;) I cleaned the bathroom and dusted my room pretty well, even organized my bookshelf better since it was getting pretty cluttered. I have to remember to clean the fish bowl next.

The good thing about my busy cleaning day, is I found my old touch screen pda. :D I can write little lists and cross things off! I usually use paper but I kinda like how organized the pda is. I looove that it has an alarm for my lists so I don't forget. I've been known to accidentally forget about or even throw away my hand written lists. Soooo I'm hoping the pda will help me.

I'm off to Ralphs! Happy Sunday! ♥

Love and Cleaningdoves,
Jaco

Oh Right! I dressed a little 50's today, kinda. I was cleaning so I didn't dress wooonderfully but I had a bandanna on. :D

Yippeeee♥

OH HAI! I got my bangs cut today ;) I feel like foxy Cleopatra.

Week one (and a half) of my fashion month is already over! Week two is actually almost done as well, which is crazy. I feel like I haven't been doing it very long, and I am actually enjoying this experiement. I feel better about myself, but really some mornings I just want to pull on jeans and put my lovely chucks on. But I promise I haven't messed up yet! Although I have forgotten to take pictures most days, sorry sorry sorry. But here are a few just to show you what I've been up to.
Watch, feather necklace, green v-neck: Forever 21

These are my Steve Madden boots I am absolutely in love with. I wear them with everything! Jeans, tights, skirts, anything.

Black Cardi: ???
Pink Skirt: Target
Tights: Nordstroms
Boots: Steve Madden
And I went to Knott's :)

I hope you all had a wonderful week(or so?)

Time for a change

Up until recently, I used to change my hair all the time. I've had so many hair colors, some of which I don't even know why. I've had strawberry red, dark dark red, light brown, blond & brown, some black, and I even had black, brown, and red at the same time! It feels weird looking back on it. For now, I've decided to keep my hair it's natural dark brown, I think it suits the pale look I've been working on.

BUT. Tomorrow I go into the hair salon for a little change. Because lately I feel like this!

I'll post a picture tomorrow ;3

Jaco

Happy Saint Patrick's Day, by the way!

The Quest of the Duck

Once upon a time, there was a lovely little yearbook class that took a trip to Knott's Berry Farm because Disneyland was way too expensive. Although their hopes were a little down, from lack of Disney action, they embarked on their trip with some hope. Once arriving at their destination, the class go-ers split up into groups to go on a photo scavenger hunt. They were promised fame, fortune, and a really awesome trophy with a duck on it.

The hunt was difficult, and long. The list had at least forty nearly impossible tasks they were forced to attempt. From congaing with random tourists to the treacherous "Blue Steel"-ing with a cast member. After trying, one group decided it was too treacherous to continue and moved on to conquering the awesome rides that dwell in the park. While the other three groups remained, they knew only one could triumph.

Once the three hours were up, the teams ran back to the meeting point to see how they had done. With high hopes, the teams listened in to hear the verdict and BAM! one of the teams achieved all forty of the terrible quests. They, somehow, managed to win a stuffed animal, do the invisible bench outside of the Jaguar, do a line dance in ghost town and SO MANY MORE QUESTS! It was nearly unthinkable.

Although the other teams were crushed, their great efforts did not match the winning team, they still enjoyed the rest of their time at the wonderful Knott's Berry Farm. Their hopes for the duck trophy were dashed, the yearbook class spent a wonderful day riding thrilling rides as well as eating way too much junk food.

Perhaps next year they would have the chance at glory.

;) Love and Turtledoves,
Jaco

P.S. I also got to ride my favorite ride, the Carousel. I picked the Ostrich ;)
