Busy Busy!

Oh dear today was such a long day! I know it's Friday, but for some reason I feel like it's Monday. Isn't that bonkers?! I kept feeling like I had to watch the clock because I had plans? Which was not the case for today, haha. All that nonsense aside, I had a wonderful Friday. School was short, minus the huge test on Global Warming (I know, freaking amazing right?). The great news is, we officially finished the yearbook today! Hurrrraaaaaay! Our hard, and by our I mean the five of us, work finally paying off :] It's going to be beautiful.

I hope you all had a wonderful Friday! I take S.A.T.'s tomorrow, boooooooooooooo.

A few more things about me

1. I am terrified of large fish. Not whales, dolphins, ect but like coi, bass, the like. I walked into the fish area of a pet store once and pretty much freaked out.

2. I am almost always a clean freak. I like everything to be in its place and if it isn't, it stresses me out biiiiiig time. BUT this only applies to spaces that I feel I am at home. My home, Donny's Home, my dad's house.

3. I used to be a really terrible dresser. Like ugly jeans and shirts. I changed this when I became friends with a girl named Ashley, and now I'm pretty fashionable. To be honest, lately I've been straying away from jeans, they're not all that comfortable anymore. (If I say so myself.)

4. I never wear face make-up.

5. I have a fish named Franz, who I have nearly killed twice. (On accident I swear!) He's a blue and purple Beta.

6. I used to really wish I was blond and blue eyed. However, the older I get the more I love my brown eyes and dark brown hair.

7. My dad is a successful pilot; I'm afraid of heights.

8. I have a big problem with anxiety and stress. I've been able to handle it better over these last few years, but when I first started getting anxious in 8th grade it was terrible. I couldn't control myself or the way I felt and would never want to go back to that time. But now I'm a lot more healthy and, usually, I can control my anxiety/stress level.

9. I'm a little embarrassed to say Donny is my first boyfriend. I try to forget so it doesn't hinder our relationship.

10. I have only kissed 3 people.

11. I seriously love pink and yellow. Yellow is so happy and pink is so comforting. However, I feel I look my best in a lot of black.

April 27, 2010

Today marks the two year anniversary of Mr. Donny and my relationship! :) Somehow we managed to be perfect for each other, something I'm still amazed with. We were both so young when we met and have grown so much it really amazes me. We have a lot of plans for the future, including moving in together next summer! ♥ I cannot wait :)

I love you, Bunny Bottom :)

To celebrate, we spent today together, all dress up too! I have a tight, tunic dress with leggings and boots. He's sporting a navy collared shirt and nice jeans, my handsome boy! ♥ I made a casserole and we ate in while watching The Lovely Bones movie. Donny really liked it but I was a little bored because I read the book a month or so ago *which was absolutely amazing*. The movie was a good representation of the book, I liked that it wasn't brutal. *Ya know, it's kinda hard to be polite about a rape/murder situation, but the movie was very polite.*

Other than that we simply enjoyed our day to celebrate our love. ♥ I hope you all enjoyed our special day too :)

Terrible Weather

Ugh. It seems like Spring is trying to spite me! I had planned to wear the cutest outfit today, patterned tights and pretty grey boots were involved. However, since it was windy to the extreme, and frigidly cold to match, I had to decide against my adorable outfit. I ended up in grey dress pants, pink top, and grey & pink converse. Over that I wore a yellow cardigan to match my bran-spankin'-new yellow nail polish :]. Then over that, I wore a navy blue sweatshirt, in order to have a hood. FINALLY, the last item I wore was my school lettermen's jacket because it's like the warmest jacket I own. None the less, I felt totally fat but at least I was warm.

Well that's enough Negative Nancy time, if I say so myself! On a happier note, April is a very exciting month for me. On the smaller news, it's almost summer and I am so ready to be done with Junior year. Senior year has begun to daunt me haha. On the larger side, my anniversary with Donny is a week from yesterday. We have been together for two years as of the 27th, boy what a ride. For our anniversary, I am making us a casserole for dinner and chocolate lava cakes for desert. :] Other than that, I'm not sure maybe we'll go out to a movie or something? I don't really care, I'm not in the mood for going out this year. ♥ I'll be sure to take a bunch of pictures because I get super dressed up for this kind of special occasion! *Especially because I wish I had pictures of our first anniversary, but we never took any.*

Another upside is... my birthday is in two weeks (from tomorrow)! I am seventeen this year, huraaaah! Donny and I might go to Knott's Berry Farm, we might go to Disneyland, we might do nothing at all haha! I don't really mind this year, it isn't a significant number. :] But next year is.This year for my birthday, I waaaaaaaaaaaant:
Roller skates!
A new bathing suit!
Sewing Supplies!

But mostly a pair of beautiful roller skates.

I hope your days weren't as windy and terrible as mine was!

Hello Hello!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday! I know that I am! My day has been filled with a joy I try not to experience very often. That is... the joy of new sewing supplies!!!!! I decided to brighten my day with some new fabric, thread I desperately needed, and buttons! Isn't this small treasure every crafter's dream?! (Btw, it sure is mine ♥ )

OH right! I bought nail polish too! And mentos ;)

This is lovely Mortimer :]

Another update is I sold my first Lovebot last week! Mortimer Monsterbot found a wonderful home and I've never been so happy to make them. :) My hope is to continue to sell them, all I need is to grow in my followers of this blog and sell more goods! I swear they are very well made. I put all of my heart into every Lovebot I make and would love to spread the joy I get out of them, to other people. I also take custom orders, I actually am looking forward to one of those in the future. :)

*weheartit*

And... among all these great things is a small upset in my thought process... I really enjoy blogging and I feel like it's something I will be very good at, eventually... Yet at the same time, I'm trying very hard to stay optimistic about this. I must try harder I suppose...

I hope you all a wonderful week ♥
Love and Turtledoves,
Jaco

P.S. I can't believe my concert is this Friday! I feel like it was just the first practice.

I'm not deceased!

I'm so sorry for the lack of posting! Blogging from home has become more difficult because of my download/upload limit. I'm going to try harder to continue posting and getting used to blogging every day (or so).

I have been super busy, as usual. I have school everyday, which is fine because graduation comes next year. I've also been super excited about my Etsy grand opening ( you can see my shop here) and have already sold one of my sweet Lovebots. ♥

Today I spent some time cleaning, which may sound like a chore but is really an enjoyable task for me. Most who know me are aware that I enjoy being extremely immaculate and enjoy an immaculate environment. Example: I expect my boyfriend to clean his home when I come over, but don't feel like this with my friends because his house feels a little like mine.)I really just feel comfortable in a clean room and very anxious in a dirty one. (P.S. By dirty I don't mean clothes on the floor, I mean food, dirt, ect ect ect.) So I did that today... and now I'm at Donny's house, writing on my blog that I have missed terribly.

I just ate a ring-pop and apparently my lips and tongue are bright blue.

Today, I thought I'd talk about my aspirations in life. I'm still very young but I have my life planned out, very loosely ;), to what I want to do with it.
I hope to continue to be a seamstress and do it for a living.

I hope to continue my love and passion for clarinet.

And I hope to have a small family someday.

What are you aspirations?

Jaco

Happy Sunday ♥

Photobucket
(Doesn't have much to do with my post, but it applies A LOT to my life)
*weheartit*

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all had a pleasant weekend, I know I did. :) Saturday we had a yard sale at our old house, it's hard having two sets of furniture! We had a very successful sale and I met our renters for the first time. I just have to say they are the cutest little family. Sheri, her mother, and Sheri's two little boys are going to move in in May I think. They were so adorable and totally excited to see their new home. :) I wish I would have taken pictures.

And today, I spent my time sewing like crazy! I made a few bows and another lovebot for my etsy update! (Which should be very very soooon!!!!) And that's about it for today haha. I enjoyed a well earned day off ;) Thank God for Sundays.

Love and Turtledoves,
Jaco

Happy Easter catch up.

I can't believe it's Thursday and I'm just now writing this, oh well. It seems everyone has been forgetting to blog lately, haha it must be weather. The heat is bringing people away from their blogs ;).

I hope you all had a beautiful Easter :). It's a cute, calming holiday. Donny and I had our Easter on April 3, since the next day his family had plans. We exchanged fruity candies, ya know it seemed appropriate. I gave him a 4 pound box of jelly bellies, they're his favorite :). He gave me two bags of skittles, 2 boxes of peeps, and 1 long package of starbursts (I know what a sweetheart ♥). After a while of just hanging out, we painted eggs! Donny painted a red one, a blue egg (that said I ♥ Jaco) and a lime green one! Meanwhile, I made a pink one, an orange one, and blue and yellow one! (Warrior Pride!)

My month of fashion is over today and I really enjoyed trying to look good everyday. I sure as hell miss jeans and converse by now, but I also think I enjoy wearing heels more. I feel like I have a better sense of fashion now that I have been dressing up :) which is a super plus for me. Here's two of my recent outfits ;)

I wore this to see "How to train your Dragon", which was super super cute.
Dress: Forever21
Cardigan: Nordstroms
Grey tights: Nordstroms
Boots: Doc Martins (sorry not in the picture)

I went to school in this!
Shirt & scarf: Forever 21

I hope everyone else has had a wonderful couple of days :) I'll keep remembering to blog from now on, I promise!

Love and Turtledoves,
Jaco

P.S. I am a soon to be Crazy Cat Lady.

That's Muffin

Oh dear,

Just as a catch up, I have been really busy lately. I am frustrated with my internet at home, I have an upload limit, so I can't post any pictures. I'll probably post a few things, or at least get ready to post, on Thursday. I have a lot of catch up to post and things I want to post about, but I think it looks better with at least one picture.

Today I am completely burnt out. I've been the last two days working on the school's yearbook insanely. The dead line is today, so we had to at least put something on the pages that weren't done. It's one of the most frustrating experiences. I really adore yearbook, because I have talent in the design aspect of it. The real problem lies in the people who don't do anything. They say they've finished and the pages are incomplete and, to be honest, terrible half the time. Naturally this leaves about four of us to complete the 160(?) page yearbook. I am completely exhausted. I know it will turn out amazing, but that doesn't mean I'm not tired of doing so much work.

I miss you all terribly.

Jaco

Oh, so 60's

Recently I have been getting into the 60's style. I have gained some long skirts, I have a very pretty red paterned my grandmother gave me. Apparently it never wrinkles, but it's quite cute and all pleats! I also was given a yellow jumpsuit that looks just like this one in the pattern, minus the collar. Mine has a white and orange print around the V-neck.

Google

I also have a pretty bib shirt much like this one. Mine is black and has a lime green bib, and I feel like a vixen in it :)oh hahah I guess that's a dress, well mine is a shirt. I got in from Target years and years ago but it finally fits me how it should and thank God I kept it!
And I bought this dress on Tuesday! It's Jessica Simpson, surprisingly, and I wasn't instantly in love with it. I've never had a beige dress before and had to be talked into trying it on (Thanks, Nonnie!). After slipping it on, I fell in love. It's one of the prettiest flowy dresses I have ever seen. I feel like I'm free and could just float away. (If only that was possible, right? ;] )

Amazon

My problem is though, what do I wear with a jumpsuit? Do I wear a belt? What kind of shoes (I was thinking boots or sandals?) Do I put a sweater on it, since it has no sleeves? Can anyone help me with my jumpsuit dilemma?

Love and Turtle Doves,
Jaco

P.S. thanks Baby, for always putting up my pictures ♥ You're a doll.
