The hunt was difficult, and long. The list had at least forty nearly impossible tasks they were forced to attempt. From congaing with random tourists to the treacherous "Blue Steel"-ing with a cast member. After trying, one group decided it was too treacherous to continue and moved on to conquering the awesome rides that dwell in the park. While the other three groups remained, they knew only one could triumph.
Once the three hours were up, the teams ran back to the meeting point to see how they had done. With high hopes, the teams listened in to hear the verdict and BAM! one of the teams achieved all forty of the terrible quests. They, somehow, managed to win a stuffed animal, do the invisible bench outside of the Jaguar, do a line dance in ghost town and SO MANY MORE QUESTS! It was nearly unthinkable.
Although the other teams were crushed, their great efforts did not match the winning team, they still enjoyed the rest of their time at the wonderful Knott's Berry Farm. Their hopes for the duck trophy were dashed, the yearbook class spent a wonderful day riding thrilling rides as well as eating way too much junk food.
Perhaps next year they would have the chance at glory.
;) Love and Turtledoves,
Jaco
P.S. I also got to ride my favorite ride, the Carousel. I picked the Ostrich ;)
